Random marginal and random removal values

چکیده

We propose two variations of the non-cooperative bargaining model for games in coalitional form, introduced by Hart and Mas-Colell (1996a). These strategic games implement, in the limit, two new NTU-values: The random marginal and the random removal values. The main characteristic of these proposals is that they always select a unique payo¤ allocation in NTU-games. The random marginal value coincides with the Consistent NTU-value (Maschler and Owen, 1989) for hyperplane games, and with the Shapley value for TU games (Shapley, 1953). The random removal coincides with the solidarity value (Novak and Radzik, 1994) in TU-games. In large games it is showed that, in the special class of market games, the random marginal coincides with the Shapley NTU-value (Shapley,1969), and that the random removal coincides with the equal split solution. مقایسه مدل‌های لجستیک حاشیه‌ای با اندازه‌گیری مکرر و لجستیک شرطی در بررسی عوامل موثر بر پرفشاری خون

Background and purpose: To analyze the data in which the correlation between observations are to be considered, a general method is using marginal model with repeated measures, yet there is another method called conditional model with random clusters. Âccording to the binary responses, the aim of the present study is to compare the efficiency of these two models in studying the risk factors a...

Distributions of the Ratios of Independent Kumaraswamy Variables and System Reliability Applications

‎In this article‎, ‎first of all‎, ‎the Kumaraswamy distribution is introduced‎. ‎Then‎, ‎the joint and marginal distributions of W = X1/X2 and T = X1/X1+X2 where X1 and X2 are independent Kumaraswamy random variables‎, ‎are obtained and the moments of these random variables are computed‎. ‎The distribution of random variables  W  and T  can be used in reliability studies and statistical models...

A note on obtaining correct marginal predictions from a random intercepts model for binary outcomes.

BACKGROUND Clustered data with binary outcomes are often analysed using random intercepts models or generalised estimating equations (GEE) resulting in cluster-specific or 'population-average' inference, respectively. METHODS When a random effects model is fitted to clustered data, predictions may be produced for a member of an existing cluster by using estimates of the fixed effects (regress...

Strong Convexity and Directional Derivatives of Marginal Values in Two{stage Stochastic Programming

Two-stage stochastic programs with random right-hand side are considered. Veriiable suucient conditions for the existence of second-order directional derivatives of marginal values are presented. The central role of the strong convexity of the expected recourse function as well as of a Lipschitz stability result for optimal sets is emphasized.

Stochastic Comparisons of Random Vectors with Conditionally Independent Components

In this paper we consider the following model. We consider n nonnegative random variables T1, T2, . . . , Tn such that they are conditionally independent given some random vector Θ, where Θ takes values on some set χ ⊆ R. If Fi(·|θ) denotes the marginal distribution of Ti(θ) ≡ (Ti|Θ = θ), and G(θ) denotes the joint distribution function of Θ, then the joint distribution of (T1, T2, . . . , Tn) ...
